Individualized, personalized care for your retired horse,

in the heart of Virginia horse country.

Elite Care For Elite Horses

Virginia is for horses!

Manicured pastures

Manicured pastures provide horses with lush, well-maintained, weed free grasses for optimal grazing.

Safe Board Fencing

Board fencing ensures a secure and safe environment for the horses, preventing accidents and ensuring peaceful pasture living.

Clean Water

Water sources are cleaned regularly to guarantee horses stay hydrated and healthy.  Providing your horse with fresh clean water can help reduce the risk of colic, help maintain body condition and help maintain healthy digestion.

Run-in-Shed

Spacious, 24 X 36 safe run-in shed, horses are protected from the unwanted elements, allowing them to find shelter and shade whenever they desire.

24/7 Monitoring

Round-the-clock monitoring ensures the well-being of the horses, providing immediate attention to any health concerns & maintaining a vigilant watch over their safety and comfort.

Optimal Nutrition

Our individualized feeding schedules offer senior horses a balanced & nutritious diet that meets their specific needs.  Horses are fed in their stalls 2-3 times daily, ensuring each horse safely has the time to eat her customized meal.

Access To Hay And Grass

Access to high-quality hay and grass allows horses in our care to graze freely, supporting their natural grazing behavior and providing essential nutrients for optimal health and contentment.

European Stalls

Airy European stalls, equipped with fans, prioritize horse comfort by ensuring optimal ventilation, safety and a sense of community.  The barn sits on a hill providing shade and cross-ventilation in the summer months.

Personalized care for peace of mind

Our personalized care ensures all the horses receive individual attention, tailoring their needs for physical and emotional well-being, offering peace of mind to both horse and owner.

Rolling Hills to Roam

With 25-acres of rolling fields to meander, the horses have access to different kinds of grasses, dry footing and unrestricted movement on gently rolling hills with access to mature shade trees.

Meet the Owners

We are a Mother/Son team with over 70 years of combined experience competing and managing horses. We reside in the middle of the farm, allowing us to see each pasture. Although we have 25 acres of ample pasture, we limit the number of horses on the farm to provide superior one-on-one care.

How We Onboard New Horses

The first step is getting owners to fill our onboarding application form. This helps us understand the nature of care your horse requires, and if we’re a good fit.

Boarding Application

Once your application is reviewed and meets our requirements, we share our boarding agreement with the horse owners to read through, sign and pay necessary fees.

Boarding Agreement

We work with the owners to ship their horses down to us. At this points, liability agreements are signed and we begin care for the horse right away.
